Privacy

If you choose “Allow anonymous analytics”, this site records which pages are viewed and which outbound links are followed, so I can understand which writing and work is useful. If you choose “No thanks”, nothing is recorded.

What is collected

• A random visitor ID kept in your browser, and a random ID for the current visit
• The page path (without query strings), and the first page of the visit
• The referring website’s name only, and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed
• Country, device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), timezone and browser language
• For outbound links: the link text or deck title, and the destination site’s name

What is not collected

No IP addresses, names, email addresses, account details, precise location, full browser details or fingerprinting. The random IDs are not linked to who you are, and the data is not shared or sold.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored in your browser. Choosing “No thanks” below stops tracking and deletes the random IDs from this browser.
